PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT:

Preparing for your appointment is just as important for good healed results as post care. Failure to follow pre-care may result in your being sent home the day of your appointment. So, please read the following carefully.

No Alcohol or Ibuprofen/Advil within 24 hours of your appointment, you can take it immediately after. You should NOT exercise the day of your appointment. Typically there is very little bleeding in Microblading, anything that contributes to thinning your blood will cause more bleeding and this extra bleeding will prevent the pigment from holding and/or cause the strokes to blur.

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE MY PROCEDURE?

WASH YOUR HAIR! Seriously!! You will not be able to get your brows wet for the next 10 days, so wash your hair the morning of or night before to give yourself a few extra days before your next wash.

If possible please come to your appointment with your brows filled in the way you like to wear them daily, this will give me a general feel of how you'll be comfortable with your microblading results. Another suggestion would be to wear a light layer of foundation as we will be rubbing pigment onto your forehead/brow area and the foundation will prevent your pores from the pigment. Wash your hair the morning of or night before the appointment.

If you plan to go on a vacation, it is recommended to plan your trip a minimum of 7 days after the procedure. Avoid any blood thinners for 24 hours prior to the appointment. This also includes Vitamin E, Aspirin, Pre Workout and Alcohol.

2 WEEKS BEFORE:

BOTOX: If you regularly get Botox or Dysport, it must be done at least 14 days prior to your appointment. It takes at least that long to settle in the skin. Receiving it 14 day of your appointment will result in being sent home.

WAXING/THREADING: I recommend coming to your appointment with your brows grown out, no need to have them cleaned up before! I prefer to see how they grow naturally, so if able, please do not have them groomed or tinted at least 2 weeks from your appointment.

RETIN -A: Please refrain from using any Retin-A products in the brow area for 2 weeks leading up to your appointment.

CAN I BRING A GUEST TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Due to Covid-19 we ask that you do not bring guest to your appointment as there will only be 1 client at a time and no more than 2 clients visit a day. After things go back to normal please know that the county Health Department does not permit infants/toddlers or pets to accompany your visit.

HOW WILL I LOOK IMMEDIATELY AFTER?
Beautiful. A lot of people think they will leave red and swollen but microblading doesn't usually cause swelling since its less invasive than a tattoo. You may feel your new brows look darker and thicker than expected for the first few days. Color will gradually soften in color and shrink slightly in size during the complete healing process (30 days).
